Our Vision
We seek to create a network of cooperating ERA offices in Panama where the byword will be trust and integrity. The synergy of this cooperation will result in the sum being much greater then the individual parts (i.e. each office), since having a critical mass of strategically placed offices will create a national brand awareness that will increase every office’s overall business aided by cooperative advertising, shared lead generation and the ability to obtain a higher commission percentage because of the increased marketing exposure sellers will come to recognize. Among many things, developers may be more likely to want to work with ERA to exclusively market their projects which all franchisees will be able to benefit from.
Since faith and trust will be critical in accepting a new franchisee into the network, other franchisees in Panama will be able to feel comfortable in knowing that a lead provided to another ERA office will be honored and the referral commission paid by that office. Since the concept and advantage of a Multi Listing Service does not exist in Panama, eventually with enough ERA offices in Panama, the combination of the all the ERA broker and sale associate listings from all offices on www.erapanama.com will be greater then any other single listing source in Panama. This will mean we collectively will have our own in-house “multi listing service” and a prospective buyer will no longer feel he needs to “shop around” and talk to other non-ERA realtors because of the sheer breadth and number of listings already available under the ERA umbrella. Also, since investors are often investing in multiple markets, it will be easy to refer them to another ERA office in a country where ERA has a presence and be assured of receiving a commission in the event of a sale.
Other real estate franchise systems simply offer their name and the usual small advantages as previously mentioned and the franchisee only has a direct relationship with the home office and/or regional master franchisor. This appears to be the case here in Panama. Another franchise office is simply just looked at as “competition” sharing the same franchise name, and there is really no cooperation between such offices.
The Panama real estate business is extremely fragmented and a good deal of mistrust exists within the industry as a whole, often deservedly so, as everyone has their own horror stories. Our goal is to change the buying and selling experience in the Panama real estate market by creating a network of independently owned and/or joint venture owned offices across the country.
